WHEN ARE THE BEST TIMES TO USE R1 PLANT PROTEIN?
R1 Plant Protein is a complete protein source with a full amino acid profile and works well first thing in the morning and before or immediately after workouts to help effectively deliver the vital amino acids your muscles need performance and recovery.
HOW MUCH R1 PLANT PROTEIN SHOULD I TAKE?
It really depends upon factors such as your physical size, what your diet consists of, how many total calories you consume, and your activity level. A common rule of thumb in the bodybuilding world is to aim for 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight per day. In other words, a 200 lb athlete should target 200 g of total protein from all dietary sources including protein powders and other supplements.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PLANT PROTEIN AND WHEY PROTEIN?
R1 Plant Protein is free of soy, dairy, lactose and cholesterol, making it good for those who can't digest whey. R1 Plant Protein is also vegan friendly and like whey is a complete protein (contains all the essential amino acids). R1 Plant Protein yields about 3 times the amount of the amino acid arginine but not as high in BCAAs as whey.

Great macros, not so great taste

The nutritional content is the best that I’ve found for a reasonably priced plant protein power. The downside for me is the taste. Just switched from another plant protein powder of the same flavor, and while this protein offers better macros, the taste is definitely a step down.

Great Plant Protein

Whey can upset my stomach, and I'd been looking for a plant protein for a while, and this one is simply the best, both in terms of taste and amino acid profile. Very happy with my purchase. Hoping R1 releases more flavors and larger sizes!

Very chalky and thick for the suggested 8-10oz of liquid they suggest... And compared to the other protein powder that Rule 1 have on the market the taste is really bland...
